ELEVATOR MACHINE ROOM TEMPERATURES

During the extreme cold winter months, if the hydraulic fluid is too cold, the elevator cannot run properly. This could cause major elevator malfunctions. Hydraulic fluid needs to maintain a range temperature between 90 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Delaware Elevator recommends placing a space heater in the machine room. This will assist in keeping the proper temperature in the machine room at 65 degrees Fahrenheit.
